Minimum Requirements

Cutback is a Premiere Pro extension, so you need to have a legitimate copy of Adobe Premiere Pro installed to use it.
•
To use all features, Premiere Pro 2023 version or higher is required.
Windows
1.
Click the installation link above to download the installer.
2.
Run the downloaded CutbackInstaller.exe file.
3.
Proceed with the installation through the installer program.
4.
Restart Adobe Premiere Pro.
5.
Select the project you want to work on in Adobe Premiere Pro.
6.
Click "Window" > "Extensions" > "Cutback" in the top menu to run it.

Mac
1.
Click the installation link above to download the installer.
2.
Run the downloaded CutbackInstaller.pkg file.
3.
Proceed with the installation through the installer program.

Restart Adobe Premiere Pro.

Click "Window" > "Extensions" > "Cutback" in the top menu to run it.

Use this method if you encounter errors with the Windows or Mac installation methods above.

Download the latest version of the Cutback ZXP installation file:

Run Extension Manager, click [Install] in the top left menu, and select the downloaded CutbackInstaller.zxp file to install.

Restart Adobe Premiere Pro.
5.
Select the project you want to work on in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Click "Window" > "Extensions" > "Cutback" in the top menu to run it.

Uninstallation Method
If installed using the exe file on Windows
Delete the following folders:

C:\Users\{User Name}\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.cutback.cep
•
C:\Users\{User Name}\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.cutback.cep
•
C:\Users\{User Name}\AppData\Local\Temp\cep_cache\

The AppData folder is usually hidden, so you can access it by directly typing it in the address bar of the explorer, or by entering the path %appdata% in the explorer and pressing enter, then moving to the parent folder
If installed using the pkg file on Mac
Delete the following folders:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/com.cutback.cep
•
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/com.cutback.cep
•
~/Library/Caches/CSXS/cep_cache/Â

If installed using the zxp file through Extension Manager

Run Extension Manager, select [Premiere Pro] > select com.cutback.cep > click [Remove] to uninstall.
